A clear route to disconnect and delete.
Merchants can stop future provider synchronization by disconnecting supported integrations and can request verified deletion of their Metrico account and retained merchant data through support.

Remove the Shopify app
Uninstall Metrico from Shopify Admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels. This stops app access and cancels the Shopify app subscription. Shopify normally sends a shop-redaction notification 48 hours after uninstall if the app has not been reinstalled. Metrico processes that notification to erase its store data. Customer data requests and redactions are also handled through Shopify privacy notifications.
Disconnect a provider
Use Metrico's integration settings to disconnect supported commerce or advertising providers where that control is available. Disconnecting revokes or removes the Metrico-side connection used for future synchronization. You may also need to revoke Metrico from the provider's own account settings.
Request account deletion
Submit a deletion request through the contact page from an authorized Shopify store owner. Include the store domain or workspace identifier so the request can be located. Never send passwords, API keys, OAuth tokens, or other secrets.
Verification
Metrico may verify account ownership before deleting data so one person cannot erase another merchant's workspace. Additional verification can be required when a request is sent from an email address that does not match the account.
What deletion covers
A verified deletion request is intended to remove account-linked merchant data that Metrico controls, including synchronized commerce and advertising records and Metrico-derived records associated with that workspace, subject to the exceptions below.
What can remain temporarily
Security logs, fraud-prevention records, billing or dispute records, and encrypted backups can remain for the period reasonably required by their purpose or applicable legal obligations. Backup copies age out through the relevant backup-retention process rather than being used as active product data.
Provider copies
Deleting data from Metrico does not delete information independently held by Shopify, Meta, TikTok, Google, or another connected provider. Requests concerning provider-controlled copies must be made through that provider's own privacy process.
Customer privacy requests
If you are a shopper or customer of a merchant that uses Metrico, contact that merchant first. The merchant controls its customer relationship and can ask Metrico for assistance with a valid request involving data Metrico processes on the merchant's behalf.
